It's probably most important to use a primer that is made for what is around the bondo, e.g. metal or plastic or fiberglass. If I assume correctly that you are using bondo on metal, just make sure that the primer claims it is made for use on metal.

I'd also suggest using a primer made by the same manufacturer as the topcoat (e.g., Rustoleum). An issue would come into play if the Primer were Acrylic based while the Top Coat were Oil based.--Mark http://www.marksatterfield.com 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
